First Full Weekend of Springtime Potluck Dinner...

INSANE

Hard to believe that it was over a week ago when thirty or so people converged on House Five Ten for a sit-down dinner of epic proportions.

While a potluck in theory, there was a method to the dinner that marked it more as "extraordinary" than just simply "ordinary." First full weekend in spring, a beautiful day (though we really had no idea it would be so beautiful), and so what better way to celebrate than 7 courses of Italian food..? That is what I thought. My kitchen was in full effect, and all of my rooms, carpets, and walls were forced to smells that quite possibly could have killed a foodie. Seriously, what the hosts prepared, and what the guests brought to the table, well, it was just amazing.

So here is the deal. Italian-themed, yeah, you know that one. Dress up was encouraged, and many exceeded expectations. A dish to contribute to the overall spectrum of a more-or-less traditional Italian family meal was mandatory (or a bottle or three of wine), which all involved handled quite well. And, lastly, you had to sit still while photographs were taken of your dressed-up self.

Below are a long line of photos of participants in their finery. All of these shots were fired by house resident Stewart. Take a gander.
